Created work

Isabel must have used her skills to design and create many beautiful works of embroidery, some of these must still exist and it would be fabulous to find them. It is possible that work is still on display, but it could also be stored safely in personal collections or on display in personal homes.

Much of her work was of a religious nature, but not all. There are some lovely drawings capturing other ideas which would be equally as exciting to learn more about. There's a few mysteries to consider here.

ROLL OF HONOUR
With huge thanks to Mary Painter at Blackburn Library and Julia Simpson at the Town Hall for their recent help in finding the first work of Isabel's that is still on public display. The Roll of Honour for the Great War was illustrated by Isabel and her students. More information about the book can be found here.
